Job Title: Compliance Governance Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and knowledgeable professional to ensure that our organization adheres to legal standards, industry regulations, and internal policies.

The role involves developing compliance frameworks, monitoring adherence, mitigating risks, and guiding the business on regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Risk Management: Ensure adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines (labour laws, IT regulations, data protection, corporate governance, etc.).
  • Regulatory Updates: Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise management on necessary actions.
  • Audit and Compliance: Identify potential compliance risks and develop mitigation strategies. Conduct regular audits, assessments, and internal reviews to monitor compliance effectiveness.
  • Training and Awareness: Draft and update compliance policies, SOPs, and manuals. Conduct training sessions and awareness programs for employees on compliance, ethics, and legal obligations.
  • Culture of Integrity: Support management in driving a culture of integrity and compliance across the organization.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare compliance reports and dashboards for leadership and regulatory authorities. Maintain accurate documentation of compliance activities, audit findings, and corrective actions.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the point of contact for regulators, auditors, and legal authorities. Partner with HR, Finance, Legal, IT, and Operations to ensure business practices comply with regulations.
