Job Description

  • We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our GRC initiatives, focusing on implementing effective policy compliance, security requirements governance, and risk management practices.
  • The ideal candidate will have expertise in risk management, security, and privacy regulations, as well as exceptional communication skills to drive business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute client strategies to reduce technology risks, improve governance, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Evaluate business and IT risks, developing security standards, procedures, and controls to mitigate risks.
  • Enhance client security posture through process improvement, policy automation, and continuous evolution of capabilities.
  • Analyze information security threats and their impact on clients' IT environments.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to design clients' information security postures, including legal, regulatory, and scheme security requirements.
  • Deliver work streams for clients in compliance standards such as PCI DSS, ISO 27001, EU GDPR, and Bahrain PDPL, and incident management disciplines.
  • Perform and investigate internal and external information security risk and exception assessments, assessing incidents, vulnerability management, scans, patching status, secure baselines, penetration test results, phishing, and social engineering tests and attacks.
  • Document and report control failures and gaps to stakeholders, providing remediation guidance and preparing management reports to track remediation activities.
  • Stay current on best practices and technological advancements, acting as a technical resource for security assessment and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist with other related duties as assigned based on business needs.
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years experience in IT Governance, Risk & Compliance.
  • Familiarity with ISO 27001, PCI DSS, ITIL, ITSM, and COBIT standards preferred.
  • Experience with risk management principles and associated methodologies.
  • Ideal qualifications include CEH, CISSP, CISA, or CISM.
  • Demonstrated ability to make sound decisions and judgments under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to drive change in a collaborative manner both internally and externally.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. They should be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
