Job Description

The role of the Heat Treatment Team Leader is a critical position that requires exceptional leadership and organizational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the heat treatment process, ensuring it meets customer demands and plant goals. This includes developing shop floor schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize scrap.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with all heat treatment equipment, including SQF and carburizing processes. They should also possess basic gear machining knowledge and be willing to work in shifts. Strong analytical problem-solving skills and supervisor/leadership abilities are essential for this role.

  • Develop and implement effective shop floor schedules to meet customer demand and plant goals.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment through continuous improvement and quality management systems.
  • Evaluate training needs and provide as needed to production personnel.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum Engineering Graduate Level (B.E. /DME) in Metallurgy. Preferably, they should have 3-6 years of heat treatment production experience. Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Metallurgy or related field.
  • Minimum 3-6 years of heat treatment production experience.
