Job Title: Product Planning Specialist

The Product Planning Specialist plays a key role in optimizing product and process hierarchies to minimize cycle time. They will work closely with design teams to ensure that assembly and manufacturing needs are met in the early planning stages.

To be successful, candidates must have experience in manufacturing engineering, particularly in the automotive industry. A solid understanding of assembly processes is essential, as well as proficiency in using tools like DELMIA V5/Process Simulate/Vismockup/Team center visualization/Human Jack.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting product studies to define assembly processes while considering quality, safety, delivery, and ergonomics
  • Associating part, tool, and quality attributes with process definitions
  • Developing preliminary line balance/TAKT time/cycle time plans
  • Designing small Jigs & Fixtures
  • Performing time studies using MTM or MOST standards (MTM certification is desirable)
  • Project management with responsibility for delivery, quality, time, and innovation

Candidates should possess a technical background in assembly planning and digital validation, good hands-on experience with general assembly processes, and strong problem-solving skills.
