Job Title: Mainframe Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Mainframe Systems Administrator to join our team. As a seasoned professional with 7-15 years of experience, you will be responsible for the installation and configuration of z/OS operation system and maintenance rollout for z/OS.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various basic OS components Installation, configuration of ISV products. Strong knowledge on WLM, CFRM, SA and TWS is also required.

The role requires ability to make I/O Configuration changes and administration of IBM Mainframe Storage Servers (EMC) and DLm. Experience in support for IODF/ IOCDS Creation for new Systems, Storage Configuration, Storage Policies is essential.

A strong skill set in storage related software/tools installation, configuration and maintenance rollout is necessary. The candidate should also have experience in handling data migration activity & review DASD Clean up activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation and configuration of z/OS operation system and maintenance rollout for z/OS.
  • Administration and Configuration of IBM Mainframe Storage Servers (EMC) and DLm.
  • Support for IODF/ IOCDS Creation for new Systems, Storage Configuration, Storage Policies.
  • Data Migration Activity Review and DASD Clean up.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7-15 years of experience in Mainframe Systems Administration.
  • Strong knowledge on WLM, CFRM, SA and TWS.
  • Hands-on experience with various basic OS components Installation, configuration of ISV products.
  • Ability to make I/O Configuration changes.
  • Experience in storage related software/tools installation, configuration and maintenance rollout.
