Cloud Administrator Job Description

This position involves overseeing the administration of key applications Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP & EPM, and OTM throughout their implementation & support lifecycles.

  • Manage Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP application metadata, provisioning configurations, enterprise applications, domains, and application components.
  • Design, update, and implement user security and roles within Oracle Fusion Cloud Security.
  • Perform system/service maintenance tasks, back up and recovery of Oracle Fusion Applications.
  • Monitor Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, and EPM applications performance and architecture for reliability, integrity, and recoverability.

Responsibilities include:

  • Developing ERP KPIs and metrics reports and dashboards to monitor service detail and notifications related to patching/critical updates/downtime.
  • Communicating environment maintenance schedules, refresh schedules, and outages with internal staff, third-party vendors, and Oracle.
  • Assisting technical team members in managing Oracle Fusion Cloud instance configurations and enterprise applications.
  • Designing and implementing best practices to administer and improve the reliability and security of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP & EPM.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for all issues related to Oracle Fusion Cloud applications (ERP, EPM & OTM).
  • Partnering with Security, Network, Development, and Product Teams to identify and drive issue resolution.
  • Documenting system requirements and process flows.
  • Maintaining business continuity and disaster recovery processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 8+ years of overall ERP Administration Experience.
  • 3+ years of experience administering Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications ERP, EPM & OTM.
  • Experience in at least one implementations of Oracle Fusion Cloud Applications (ERP).
  • Working knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is mandatory.
  • Certifications related to Oracle Fusion Cloud are preferred.
  • Deep understanding of SDLC, IT Change Control processes, Deployment Methodologies, and Application Server Life Cycle Management.
  • Exceptional English communication skills with all levels of an organization.
  • Desire to teach and mentor other engineers.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office (Access, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
