Job Title: Senior Due Diligence Manager

We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Counterparty Due Diligence (CDD) professional to join our Forensic team at KPMG. This role requires a deep understanding of due diligence principles, as well as the ability to implement effective risk-based DD procedures.

About the Role
  • The CDD Senior Manager will oversee and manage the third-party due diligence process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • You will be responsible for delivering high-quality engagement work with minimal supervision and ensuring that you and your team members achieve timelines towards preparing due diligence reports and researching specific targets to highlight red flags.

  2. Display project management skills to deliver high-quality work on time and to budget.
  3. Adhere to operational excellence norms on proposals.
  4. Act in accordance with regulatory and internal risk procedures, remaining independent and objective at all times.
  5. Understand the client's business and deepen key account relationships.
  6. Understand and execute all aspects of risk management on a project.
  7. Act as a team lead on engagements and delegate effectively.
  8. Build co-operative relationships and foster an environment in which everyone's opinion is valued.
  9. Develop transparency towards financial targets, budgets, deadlines, and client expectations.
  10. Build better connections outside the Forensic CDD Team.
  11. Strengthen KPMG's reputation in the public eye.
  12. Serve as a subject matter expert on CDD matters, providing training and guidance to employees across the team.
  13. Present CDD-related reports and findings to senior management and clients as required.
  14. Stay informed about regulatory developments and industry trends related to CDD and TPDD to ensure the company's practices remain current and effective.
Requirements
  1. Graduate/Post-graduate degree in Commerce or Economics.
  2. Knowledge of at least one foreign language will be preferable.
  3. 6+ years of experience in business research, due diligence, KYC/AML checks, or related fields.
  4. Prior Forensic experience or a professional qualification in fraud examination would be an added advantage.
  5. Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex regulatory requirements and apply them practically within the organization.
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  7. Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in CDD operations.
  8. To actively develop, mentor, and coach team members and organize the daily workflow among team members to ensure deliverables meet timelines.
Salary Range:

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
