Night Auditor Role
The Night Auditor is accountable for overseeing overnight front desk and financial operations, serving as the primary point of contact for late-night guests.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests warmly overnight.
- Handle guest reservations and arrange for wake-up calls, taxis, and shuttle services.
- Provide excellent service to guests, VIPS, and VVIPS with timely follow-ups.
- Post charges and taxes to guest accounts and process invoices.
- Balance cash drawers, process credit card transactions, and verify receipts.
- Track key financial metrics such as room occupancy rates and revenues.
- Prepare end-of-day reports and summary cash balances for hotel management.
- Verify completion of end-of-day tasks by previous shifts.
- Coordinate with other departments like housekeeping and maintenance to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Oversee hotel safe and ensure security of guest valuables.
- Audit and reconcile hotel daily financial accounts, including revenue, charges, and payments.
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
- Support guests arriving on packages.
- Stay updated on essential hotel operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ years of front desk experience at managerial level.
- Basic math and accounting skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, PMS, and IDS software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Hotel Management or related field.
