**Job Title:** General Manager Sales & Business Development



**Job Purpose:** As a key member of the Walko QSR Company Private Ltd leadership team, the General Manager Sales & Business Development will be responsible for leading and growing the existing Sales divisions of Modern Trade and Q-commerce.



**Key Responsibilities:**




  • Responsible for the day-to-day management of Sales team for the Modern Trade and Q-commerce.
  • Provides general business and operational guidance while leading through influence.
  • Drive Company goals, including KPIs and targets, and maximize Sales growth.
  • Capture maximum market share in the respective categories/markets, Understand the marketplace, consumer, and category trends, as well as broader marketing and merchandising strategies to establish new customers.
  • Engage with Key Customers and build rapport thereby generating business opportunities, Also, take care of post-sales support required by the Key accounts.
  • Contribute & Implement sales growth strategy supporting regional strategy, Identification and implementation of new profitable volume opportunities within the account(s) to increase the business growth.
  • Provide time-to-time market intelligence to the company.
  • Evaluate the performance of the sales team and provide appropriate feedback.
  • Interview, hire, and train the sales team.


**Requirements:**




  • Experience in the management & development of Sales across India in the FMCG sector is a must.
  • MBA with at least 10-15 years of industry experience of which 5 - 8 years in handling big accounts with team management experience.
  • Strong business acumen, and relationship-building skills and must be highly influential.
  • Strong strategic and decision-making skills.
  • Must be willing to travel.
