Business Growth Specialist: Area Debt Recovery

This role drives the collections for all products at the Area level, ensuring the sustainability of the business through timely collection & recovery.

• Recruit and train a skilled debt recovery team to optimize collections & recovery processes.
• Monitor and review regional team activities to achieve targeted debt collection levels.
• Maintain adherence to established debt collection processes, including system tracking, monitoring delayed cash deposits, identifying fraudulent practices, and implementing corrective measures.
• Develop and implement effective debt collection strategies at the regional level to improve efficiency and loan recovery rates.
• Authorize payments in line with approved policies, promoting transparency in the debt repayment process.
• Assess performance data to ensure compliance with set standards and regulations, initiating corrective actions when necessary.
• Collaborate with the legal, residual, and collections teams as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) to facilitate seamless communication.
• Partner closely with the regional sales and credit teams to foster quality relationships and enhance sourcing strategies.
• Analyze complex debt collection patterns, identify trouble areas, and coordinate with the Program Head to develop targeted solutions.
• Implement efficient collections from DCCs and micro markets, ensuring optimal revenue generation.
• Ensure that higher-value accounts are addressed promptly through swift legal action.
• Utilize advanced analytics and market intelligence tools to inform decision-making and drive strategic growth initiatives.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills and operational expertise to navigate complex challenges.
• Nurture key customer relationships to promote retention and loyalty.
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, fostering collaboration and driving shared goals.
