Bid Development Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned bid development specialist with expertise in crafting winning bids for U.S. federal IT contracts, focusing on software development, cloud solutions, and cybersecurity implementations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of bids for federal RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and task orders for IT projects, ensuring compliance with solicitation requirements.
  • Collaborate with IT stakeholders to gather requirements, develop compelling themes, and write proposal sections.
  • Manage bid schedules and deliverables using project management tools.
  • Write, edit, and review bid content for IT solutions, ensuring clarity and adherence to federal standards.
  • Coordinate bid reviews and maintain compliance matrices and IT-focused content libraries.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in bid development/writing for U.S. federal IT projects.
  • Expertise in federal procurement processes and IT compliance standards.
Skills and Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office Suite for bid drafting.
  • Adobe Acrobat Pro for document editing.
  • SharePoint or Google Workspace for collaboration.
  • Proposal software for managing workflows.
  • Project management tools for tracking IT project bids.
  • IT-specific tools for architecture diagrams and software versioning.
