Job Title: Database Architect

Experience: 6-7 years in a senior role.

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in MySQL and MS SQL to design, develop, and implement scalable database schemas. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in SQL programming, database architecture, and data integration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement database schema designs, tables, views, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data requirements into efficient database designs.
  • Perform data modeling, create ER diagrams, and optimize complex SQL queries.
  • Implement indexing strategies and query optimization techniques.
  • Monitor database performance metrics and proactively resolve issues.

Database Administration & Maintenance:

  • Manage backups, recovery, and disaster recovery plans for MySQL and MS SQL.
  • Ensure database security, access control, and data integrity.
  • Handle patching, upgrades, and migrations.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 6-7 years of proven experience as a Database Developer (MySQL & MS SQL).
  • Expert-level SQL programming (T-SQL, PL/SQL).
  • Strong knowledge of database design, data modeling, and normalization.
  • Proficiency in administration tasks (backup, recovery, security, replication).
