Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Databases Administrator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and maintaining databases, ensuring maximum availability and performance.

About the Role

This is a key position within our organization, and we are looking for someone with extensive experience in database administration, architecture, and design.

Responsibilities:

  • Deploy and maintain databases, including MongoDB and Atlas Database
  • Maintain detailed documentation of database design and architecture
  • Establish procedures for backup, recovery, and disaster recovery
  • Administer databases to achieve maximum availability and performance
  • Design and implement sharding and indexing strategies
  • Configure and monitor replica sets
  • Perform patch upgrades
  • Design and build operational infrastructure to support databases
  • Establish database security procedures
  • Create users, assign roles, and manage permissions
  • Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and standards
  • Provide support to the users community using incident problem management tools

Requirements:

  • 8-12 years of experience in database administration and architecture
  • Proficiency in MongoDB and Atlas Database
  • Strong understanding of database design and architecture
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
