**Job Overview**

As a Senior SQL Developer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing databases using SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB. You will ensure that databases are properly maintained, including backups and restores.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB databases to meet business requirements.
  • Ensure database security by working with the security team.
  • Manage deployments and migrations between servers and versions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with databases.
  • Work with vendor support on any technical issues.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to databases.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to ensure system availability and performance.
  • Support reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.
  • Provide Power BI (and other reporting platforms) support.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into Power BI using Power Query and DAX.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DBA with a focus on SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Excellent knowledge of database administration, design, and maintenance for SQL Server, MySQL, and MongoDB.
  • Experience with database migrations and deployments.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work during US Central time zone hours.
  • Experience working with vendor support is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Change Management processes.
  • Experience supporting reporting team members with database queries and data requirements.
  • Experience providing Power BI (and other reporting platforms) support.
  • Familiarity with AI integrations.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
  • Experience in creating interactive dashboards and visualizations.
  • Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
