Database Architect Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Database Architect to join our AI-driven data ecosystem team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance databases that ensure data integrity and support AI-driven applications.

Closely collaborating with our AI/Engineering teams, you will optimize storage, retrieval, and analytics pipelines to drive business growth and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable database architectures (SQL & NoSQL).
  • Optimize database queries, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure data security, compliance, backup, and disaster recovery.
  • Build and maintain ETL pipelines to support AI/ML and analytics workflows.
  • Collaborate with AI engineers on vector databases and RAG pipelines.
  • Integrate databases with APIs, CRMs, and external systems.
  • Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MSSQL, etc.).
  • Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, etc.).
  • Knowledge of vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma, FAISS) is a plus.
  • Expertise in database optimization, indexing, and partitioning.
  • Solid understanding of ETL processes, data pipelines, and data modeling.
  • Experience with cloud database services (AWS RDS, GCP Cloud SQL, Azure SQL).
  • Familiarity with backup, replication, and high availability strategies.
  • Strong Python/SQL scripting skills for automation.
