Job Opportunity:

A Cloud Database Consultant is responsible for developing innovative database solutions on cloud platforms. This role involves leading delivery teams during customer workshops, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and engaging with clients to define, design, and implement database architecture and solutions.

This position requires expertise in AWS (RDS, EC2, S3) and strong hands-on experience in MS SQL environments, including migrations, upgrades, disaster recovery, and performance tuning.

The successful candidate will work closely with client stakeholders such as DBAs, developers, architects, and infrastructure teams to deliver consulting services through workshops, solutioning, architecture, migrations, optimization, and administration.

  • Lead client workshops to gather requirements and design solutions for cloud-based databases.
  • Plan, design, implement, and maintain database environments on AWS (RDS, EC2, S3).
  • Develop and optimize database structures to ensure data integrity, performance, and security.

This role also involves providing integration support with third-party monitoring systems, administering Linux and Windows environments for database deployments, and planning and implementing backup strategies following best practices.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of HA and replication mechanisms for databases, practical experience in 3-tier solutioning, and excellent consulting, leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
