Job Description

The primary objective of this position is to oversee a team responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, maintainability, and high availability of application services provided by the organization.

  • Lead a team in administering the Salesforce implementation to support a global user base
  • Provide level 2 support for the Salesforce platform and guide junior platform administrators
  • Offer assistance with user queries and training on new functionalities introduced by the development team
  • Manage all aspects of user and license management, including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing settings
  • Migrate and load data into Salesforce as requested
  • Support the integration of Salesforce with other applications and downstream systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve user issues in a timely manner and manage projects following agile best practices for application development
  • Execute Salesforce configuration changes, including flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, dashboards, and reports
  • Stay updated on new Salesforce releases and evaluate new features for implementation
  • Identify unused or underutilized platform features and work with the product owner to prioritize them in the product backlog

Required Skills and Qualifications

Salesforce experience with Sales Cloud, Lightning Force, Visual Force, Workflows, Process Builder, Flows, APEX (Write and Read), SOAP and REST API, Application Integration, and Salesforce DX

  • Salesforce Administrator, Advanced Administrator, and Salesforce Platform Developer I certifications are required
  • Must have at least 6 years of experience working as a Salesforce Administrator
  • Must have at least 3 years of experience leading teams
  • Strong problem-solving skills, data analysis, and software proficiency
  • High energy and passion for the job with a can-do attitude
  • Ability to lead a team of platform administrators and work independently
  • Self-motivation and willingness to take initiative
  • Strong organizational skills and resourcefulness
  • Proven ability to deliver on commitments
  • Good knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and DevOps processes
  • Exposure to JIRA or Azure DevOps
