The primary role of a Desktop Support Engineer L1 is to provide timely and effective support to users experiencing issues with printers and scanners.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Address user support tickets related to printers and scanners in a timely manner
  • Guide users with simple, clear, and step-by-step troubleshooting instructions
  • Conduct remote troubleshooting sessions to identify and resolve hardware or connectivity issues
  • Test alternative methods and solutions until the issue is resolved
  • Document issues, solutions, and troubleshooting steps in the IT ticketing system
  • Escalate unresolved or complex issues to the appropriate IT support level
  • Ensure high levels of user satisfaction by minimizing downtime and providing effective support
