We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance and resolve issues efficiently.

About the Role:
  • This role involves providing initial support to end-users, logging, categorizing and prioritizing incoming IT tickets in our system.
  • The successful candidate will troubleshoot hardware, software, application, and network connectivity problems.
  • They will assist users with password resets, account unlocks, and basic application support.
  • Additionally, they will escalate complex or unresolved issues to senior engineers with detailed notes and logs.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance via phone, email, or chat to end-users.
  • Log and prioritize incoming IT support tickets in our ticketing system.
  • Perform troubleshooting of hardware, software, applications, and network connectivity issues.
  • Assist users with password resets, account unlocks, and basic application support.
  • Educate users on common IT issues and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in an IT service desk role.
  • Strong understanding of Mac Systems, Windows systems, Google Administration, Google Workspace Applications, and common business applications.
  • Basic knowledge of network fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
