HR Onboarding and Engagement Specialist

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the end-to-end onboarding process for new employees and enhancing employee engagement within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. **Pre-Boarding Activities**: Collaborate with hiring managers and recruitment teams to gather necessary information about new hires.
2. Ensure that pre-onboarding forms are filled.
3. **Onboarding Coordination**: Schedule and conduct onboarding sessions – HR and Business (from day 1 to day 7 as applicable).
4. Coordinate with IT, facilities, and other departments to ensure that new employees have the necessary equipment, access, and workspace on their first day.
5. **New Hire Support**: Act as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the onboarding process.
6. Facilitate introductions and connections between new hires and their team members, managers, and other key contacts within the organization.
7. **Documentation and Compliance**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all onboarding activities, getting all compliance forms signed and submitted as applicable.
8. Ensure that all onboarding documentation is properly filed.
9. Monitor the completion of onboarding tasks and follow up with new hires and relevant departments as needed.
10. **Continuous Improvement**: Gather feedback from new hires and other stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in the onboarding process.
11. Develop and execute company-wide events, monthly engagement activities, celebrations, and activities that enhance team cohesion and employee morale.
12. Coordinate logistics, budgets, and resources for these events to ensure successful execution.
13. Engage employees in the planning process to encourage participation and ownership.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
1. Education: Bachelor's degree or Master in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Experience: At least 1-3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on onboarding or employee engagement.
Skills:
1. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
2. Strong organizational and time management abilities.
3. Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
5. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
6. Should be confident enough to lead anchoring in Employee Engagement Events.
We offer a competitive salary of approximately $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
