Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Development Specialist to join our team at Park+. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire onboarding process for new employees and fostering employee engagement within the organization.

About the Role

The Senior Human Resources Development Specialist SPOC is responsible for coordinating with hiring managers and recruitment teams to gather essential information about new hires. You will ensure that pre-onboarding forms are completed, schedule and conduct onboarding sessions, and coordinate with IT, facilities, and other departments to guarantee that new employees have the necessary equipment, access, and workspace on their first day.

You will act as the primary point of contact for new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the onboarding process. Additionally, you will facilitate introductions and connections between new hires and their team members, managers, and other key contacts within the organization.

Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all onboarding activities, obtaining all compliance forms signed and submitted as applicable, is also a crucial aspect of this role. Furthermore, you will monitor the completion of onboarding tasks and follow up with new hires and relevant departments as needed.

To enhance team cohesion and employee morale, you will plan, organize, and execute company-wide events, monthly engagement activities, celebrations, and activities. You will also engage employees in the planning process to encourage participation and ownership.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate with hiring managers and recruitment teams to gather essential information about new hires.
  2. Evaluate and implement effective onboarding processes to ensure seamless integration of new employees.
  3. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including IT, facilities, and other departments.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service to new hires, addressing any questions or concerns they may have during the onboarding process.
  5. Facilitate introductions and connections between new hires and their team members, managers, and other key contacts within the organization.
  6. Monitor the completion of onboarding tasks and follow up with new hires and relevant departments as needed.
  7. Plan, organize, and execute company-wide events, monthly engagement activities, celebrations, and activities to enhance team cohesion and employee morale.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or Master in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 1-3 years of experience in HR, with a focus on onboarding or employee engagement.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
