Job Title: Lead Medical Communications Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to excel in medical communications, focusing on delivering high-quality content that supports our clients' objectives.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Content Development: This role involves reading and understanding project briefs, guiding content writers, and cross-functional teams on scope of work. The ideal candidate will research, write, and edit a wide range of medical communication materials, including scientific manuscripts, marketing collateral, and educational content.
  • Scientific Accuracy: A deeper understanding of medical science is essential for this position. The successful candidate must ensure the accuracy, integrity, and scientific rigor of all content by staying up-to-date with the latest developments in healthcare and pharmaceuticals.
  • Audience Adaptation: The ideal candidate will be able to write, adapt, and customize content for diverse target audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, and regulatory authorities, while maintaining scientific integrity and regulatory compliance.
  • Collaboration: This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams, including medical experts, graphic designers, digital coding experts, project managers, and clients' servicing teams, to produce cohesive and effective communication materials.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adherence to industry guidelines, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards is crucial for this position to ensure all content meets the highest standards of quality and compliance.
  • Project Management: The successful candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion and adherence to scope.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A Master's degree in a relevant field, such as life sciences or pharmacy.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in medical communications, medical writing, or a related field, with at least 2+ years as a people manager/team lead.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical and healthcare industry, including knowledge of clinical trials, drug development, regulatory processes, and marketing activities.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts in a clear and engaging manner.
  • Proficiency with industry-specific software and tools.
