Sales Manager - Chemie Job Summary

As a seasoned sales professional, you will lead the sales team and develop effective sales strategies to drive business growth in the chemie market.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of lab & research chemicals, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record in sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Strategy and Planning: Develop and execute sales plans to achieve business objectives. Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify growth opportunities. Set sales targets, forecast revenue, and monitor performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve sales targets. Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills. Foster a high-performance culture and ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the pharma impurities market. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional activities and campaigns. Participate in industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance brand visibility.
  • Sales Operations: Oversee the sales process from lead generation to closing deals. Implement and optimize sales tools, CRM systems, and processes. Prepare regular sales reports and present to senior management.
  • Compliance and Quality: Ensure all sales activities comply with regulatory standards and company policies. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry regulations and quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry, pharmacy, business, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in sales, with at least 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical impurities and the drug development process
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
