Job Title: Principal Legal Counsel

Our organization seeks an experienced legal professional with 14-18 years of relevant experience in a compliance role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for advising on essential elements of Corporate Compliance programs.

This key member of our Legal Department will work alongside highly skilled legal professionals to provide innovative legal & compliance solutions to business. They will manage technology and self-assessment based Enterprise wide Compliance management programs.

  • Design, implement, and adopt whistleblower programs globally.
  • Develop expertise in handling global investigations across various issues and negotiating remediations.
  • Contribute to Compliance & Integrity Plan reviews, prepare action plans, resolve problems, identify trends, determine system improvements, and implement changes.
  • Familiarize yourself with key compliance and regulatory regimes applicable to our organization.

Requirements:

  • JD qualified lawyer with minimum 14-18 years of experience in compliance roles.
  • Additional qualifications like CA/CFA are preferred.

Desirable skills include:

  1. Extensive report development experience and policy procedure development in a multinational environment;
  2. Interest in using technology for efficient program implementation;
  3. Analytical skills relating to business processes, data, and interpersonal relationships;
  4. Experience in public speaking and business presentations;
  5. Knowledge of industry regulatory standards;
