Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor student attendance, behavior, and academic performance to identify students who may require additional support.
  • Collaborate with teaching staff and counseling teams to develop targeted support plans and interventions.
  • Coordinate extracurricular programs and activities that enhance student achievement and engagement.
  • Engage with parents/guardians to promote student progress and school involvement.
  • Connect students and families with community resources such as mental health services, educational assistance, or after-school programs.
  • Organize workshops or events focused on study skills, career development, and social-emotional learning.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of interventions, progress, and communication.
  • Support initiatives that promote equity, inclusion, and academic success within the school community.
  • Analyze student data and provide regular reports to leadership teams.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in education, youth development, or student services.
  • Strong understanding of child and adolescent development principles.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using data-driven insights to inform decision-making and track progress.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Education, School Counseling, or Social Work.
  • Experience with case management or school-based intervention programs.
  • Familiarity with education equity practices and trauma-informed care approaches.
  • Bilingual abilities are highly valued.
