Academic Guidance Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Academic Guidance Specialist to provide expert guidance and support to students navigating our academic programs. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in helping students achieve their educational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Student Support: Provide personalized guidance and support to students on our academic programs, course offerings, fees, curriculum, and prerequisites.
  • Admissions Assistance: Guide students through the admission process, ensuring a seamless experience from application submission to document verification.
  • Lead Conversion: Utilize lead conversion techniques to drive student enrollments and meet enrollment targets.
  • Career Counseling: Offer career advice on job opportunities, certifications, and upskilling relevant to the analytics industry to help students achieve their professional objectives.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing and admissions teams to drive enrollments, meet student intake targets, and achieve organizational goals.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay updated on the latest trends in education and analytics to provide informed guidance.
  • Relationship Building: Build positive relationships with students, parents, and educational partners to foster student engagement and retention.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year in EdTech sales, academic counseling, or a related field.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent English communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong customer-facing and interpersonal skills with a charismatic, competitive, and enthusiastic personality.
  • Negotiation Skills: Ability to engage prospective students and their families effectively, with strong negotiation skills to support lead conversion.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CRM tools or other record-keeping systems for effective data management.
