Sales Executive

At Straumann Group, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive to join our team in Ahmedabad. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving profitable sales growth and maximizing sales revenue within a defined territory by developing, maintaining, and advancing existing accounts and prospects through the sale of Implant, Regenerative, and Restorative product lines.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets and grow the business in the assigned territory.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including dentists and oral surgeons, to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with Product Marketing and Market Communications to support the execution of all marketing launch plans and new product sales objectives.
- Prepare and maintain territory business plans, sales forecasts, and a sales promotion activity budget.
- Ensure referral networks are regularly managed and develop referral networks for non-active GPs.
- Represent Straumann at customer events, including regional events and national trade shows.
- Effectively leverage education events to develop existing customers, build brand loyalty, and gain new customers.
- Stay up-to-date with key clinical studies and scientific papers supporting Straumann's product benefits.
- Regularly use all sales tools, such as SAP CRM, to effectively plan and measure sales activities against the territory's current customer base and prospective customers.
- Bachelor's Dental Degree (BDS) preferred.
- 3+ years of dental sales experience or some clinical experience as an associate dentist.
- Dental industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Prior sales experience with physicians as the principal point of contact is preferred.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present and negotiate are desired.
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills, are required.
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members within the region as well as independently.
- Confident in using different insights and adapting the selling approach based on customers' needs and situation.
- Maintains integrity, high ethics, and professional codes of conduct at all times.
- Able to deliver highly complex information in a clear, structured, and compelling manner.
- Proficiency in consultative selling with knowledge of the Challenger technique or related method is preferred.
- General computer efficiency, including the ability to operate Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
