Job Overview:

A Compliance Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing compliance processes that align with internal and external standards.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Creating SOPs for partners to address operational risks on field
  • Screening UC and other documents periodically and calling for clarifications where required
  • Preparing NGO score cards

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Conducting or coordinating audits to ensure compliance procedures are followed
  • Facilitating social audits and conducting periodic field verification
  • Disseminating policies and procedures related to compliance activities within teams and externally
  • Seeking feedback and providing implementation support

Ensuring the Redressal of Queries includes:

  • Reviewing audit queries/complaints received
  • Seeking response and following up on closure
  • Assisting in redressal of issues identified by the team and following up on compliance issues that need follow-up or investigation
  • Maintaining records of all compliance-related documents for verification

Reporting on Compliance Issues involves:

  • Providing support in preparing reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies

This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of compliance principles and be able to apply them in a real-world setting.
