Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a seasoned Compliance Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive compliance strategy aligned with our company's goals and regulatory requirements.



Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a compliance strategy that ensures adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.

  • Establish policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

  • Create diligence folders and conduct regular risk assessments to identify compliance risks and vulnerabilities.

  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and guidelines affecting our business.

  • Provide guidance to senior management on compliance implications of regulatory changes.

  • Review and vet contracts and agreements in the ordinary course of business.

  • Assist in closing compliance and transaction documents in case of any structural changes or fundraise.

  • Be responsible for secretarial compliances in all entities.

  • Construct contracts and agreements for vendors and third parties as needed.

  • Design and deliver training programs on compliance policies and procedures for employees.

  • Foster a culture of compliance awareness and integrity within the organization.


Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in law, Company Secretary, or related field.

  • Proven experience in a compliance role within a fast-paced environment.

  • Deep understanding of regulatory requirements relevant to startups and private limited companies.

  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex regulations and apply them to business operations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.

  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

  • Qualified Company Secretary with knowledge of FEMA and FDI regulations.

  • Proficient in MCA and secretarial filings, contract drafting, and accounting principles.
