Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned engineering leader to join our team as an Engineering Manager.

This is a pivotal role in driving the evolution of our digital payment ecosystem by leading discussions, defining engineering plans, and driving best practices for your team.

  • Facilitate discussions and lead decision-making on all engineering aspects of the team.
  • Define and execute engineering plans for areas under ownership.
  • Drive engineering best practices for the team.
  • Define, implement, and maintain production system hygiene.
  • Responsible for the health of directly owned business areas.
  • Challenging business and product outcomes, channelizing feedback into execution, and being accountable for engineering outputs.
  • Hiring, mentoring, and retaining top-notch engineers.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships with business, product, operations, and clients/vendors.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven skills in designing and developing solutions, including experience with large-scale distributed systems.
  • Proven track record building and managing high-performing software development teams.
  • Practical experience and ability to drive design and architecture with senior team members.
  • Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • 11+ years of software development experience, 3+ years of leading teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience in startups and fast-paced environments is an added advantage.
