Job Description

As a Digital Payments Strategist, you will play a key role in developing and implementing digital payment solutions for our clients across the Asia Pacific region. Your primary responsibility will be to act as a subject matter expert (SME) for digital payments, working closely with the practice lead and country teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong strategy consulting experience and a passion for the payments industry. You will be client-driven, comfortable managing projects end-to-end, and relishing the opportunity to work closely with clients to influence their future performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead significant components of client consulting engagements within the digital strategy vertical.
  • Manage a pipeline of engagements from early lead stages through to signature, project kick-off, and delivery.
  • Develop and propose strategies and business solutions to clients, managing the delivery of high-quality consultancy engagements in the region.
  • Work closely with internal and external project team members to gain consensus and coordinate the team around goals.

Requirements:

  • 8 years demonstrated experience in strategy consulting with proven project deliveries and expertise in consulting methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical skills with an ability to think strategically, frame customer opportunities in financial terms, challenge the status quo, and provide recommendations.
  • Exposure to retail banking or payment card industry or merchant retail business is a plus.
