Senior Scrum Master

As a Senior Scrum Master, you will facilitate Scrum events, remove impediments, and ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and values. You will coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum principles, helping them become self-organizing and cross-functional.

  • Support one or more agile teams as the Sr. Scrum Master.
  • Facilitate Scrum events, help the team remove impediments, and ensure the team adheres to Scrum principles and values.
  • Coach and mentor Agile teams on Scrum principles (SAFE Agile preferred), helping them become self-organizing and cross-functional.
  • Remove impediments or obstacles that hinder the team's progress.
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, openness, and transparency within the team.
  • Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, conducting regular retrospectives and implementing changes to enhance team performance.
  • Monitor and report Agile metrics to track the progress of the team and the quality of their work.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of software development practices.
  • A-CSM or PSM II or SASM Certification (Preferred).
  • 4+ yrs. as a Scrum Master.
  • Effective at communicating with and influencing the assigned delivery team(s), stakeholders, and management.
  • In-depth knowledge of Scrum practices, principles, and their application in various contexts.
