Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment:
  • Recruit and hire employees within tight deadlines, ensuring a high level of quality and efficiency.
  • Coordinate recruiting, tracking of applications, interviewing and selection of employees, taking into account company requirements.
  • Conduct pre-screens, schedule interviews, and administer reference assessments to identify top candidates.
  • Coordinate with hiring managers to create job descriptions and internal and external job postings, highlighting key responsibilities and requirements.
  • Work closely with staffing agencies to ensure staffing levels are maintained, adapting to changing business needs.
  • Maintain recruitment statistics, analyzing data to optimize future recruitment processes.


Onboarding:
  • Guide hiring managers throughout the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition for new employees.
  • Partner with the hiring manager to ensure a positive candidate experience, from application to employment.
  • Complete first day orientation with new employees, providing essential information and support.


Rewards Implementation:
  • Be a resource for employee benefit questions or guidance, promoting a culture of transparency and support.
  • Partner with supervisors and managers to effectively implement performance management and reward schemes, recognizing employee achievements and contributions.


Employee Relations:
  • Listen, address and investigate employee issues, concerns and complaints, maintaining a fair and respectful work environment.
  • Partner to conduct workplace investigations as appropriate, make recommendations and implement action to resolve workplace issues, upholding company values and policies.
  • Act as an advisor and resource to managers and supervisors, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Ensure that personnel matters are addressed in a timely manner, prioritizing employee well-being and satisfaction.
  • Stay up to date on new laws, regulations, developments, methods, and techniques in human resources, applying best practices to drive business success.
  • Review, update, maintain and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, including the employee handbook, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence.


Employee Experience and Engagement:
  • Partner in employer branding by identifying key differentiators that set the company apart from competitors, showcasing its unique value proposition.
  • Leverage candidate-facing communications, social media, and other channels to convey the corporate culture, values, and mission.
  • Implement employee rewards programs that recognize performance achievements, ensuring employees feel valued and invested in their work.
  • Participate in employee engagement and culture initiatives to provide insight into candidate and employee needs and growth, driving business results through people-centric strategies.


Supporting Special Initiatives:
  • Support and participate in department projects, including compensation and benefits, people systems, communications, employee engagement, learning and development, total rewards, and corporate engagements, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and excellence.


Administration:
  • Support event planning activities, coordinating logistics and arrangements.
  • Maintain all records and documents housed outside of company systems, ensuring accurate and reliable information.
