Job Title: IT Asset Manager

We are seeking a seasoned IT Asset Manager to lead our organization's IT asset management processes.

  • Design and implement end-to-end IT asset management processes, encompassing hardware and software assets.
  • Develop and manage Software Asset Management (SAM) lifecycles, including license management, compliance audits, procurement, renewals, and optimization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cost optimization and regulatory compliance.
  • Perform software discovery, reconciliation, and compliance checks across multiple publishers.
  • Provide strategic input for vendor negotiations, true-ups, and contract renewals.
  • Drive process improvements and automation within the ITAM/SAM practice.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor ITAM/SAM performance and governance.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Proven experience in IT asset management and software asset management tools.
  • Detailed understanding of license models, including perpetual, subscription, cloud/SaaS, BYOL, and enterprise agreements.
  • Hands-on experience in software license optimization, audits, and compliance management.
  • Able to manage the hardware asset lifecycle, including procurement, inventory, disposal, and refresh.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes, particularly ITAM/SAM, CMDB, Incident, Change, and Procurement.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills, with expertise in Excel, Power BI, or ServiceNow reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
