Job Title: IT Asset Management (ITAM)

Location: PAN INDIA

Experience Required: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage end-to-end IT Asset Management processes (both Hardware and Software).
  • Lead Software Asset Management (SAM) lifecycle including license management, compliance audits, procurement, renewals, and optimization.
  • Work closely with procurement, finance, security, and IT operations teams to ensure cost optimization and compliance.
  • Perform software discovery, reconciliation, and compliance checks across multiple publishers (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, IBM, SAP, etc.).
  • Provide strategic inputs for vendor negotiations, true-up, and contract renewals.
  • Drive process improvements and automation within ITAM/SAM practice.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and KPIs to monitor ITAM/SAM performance and governance.

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong experience in IT Asset Management and Software Asset Management tools (e.g., ServiceNow SAM Pro, Flexera, Snow, Ivanti).
  • Solid understanding of license models (perpetual, subscription, cloud/SaaS, BYOL, enterprise agreements).
  • Hands-on experience in software license optimization, audits, and compliance management.
  • Ability to manage hardware asset lifecycle (procurement, inventory, disposal, refresh).
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes (especially ITAM/SAM, CMDB, Incident, Change, and Procurement).
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with experience in Excel, Power BI, or ServiceNow reports.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
