Senior Director of Training Operations

About the Role:

This is a key leadership position responsible for designing, planning, and executing comprehensive training programs that align with long-term business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Training Program Planning & Execution:
    • Lead the design, planning, and execution of training programs to ensure they are forward-thinking, in line with industry trends, and updated with the latest standards.
    • Develop initiatives that drive high performance and achieve training objectives.
    • Oversee and refine methodologies to enhance learning efficiency and outcomes.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
    • Provide strong leadership by managing and mentoring senior team members guiding them to drive performance excellence within the training function.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement ensuring trainers and process coaches are well-equipped to meet organizational goals.
    • Create developmental roadmaps identifying leadership potential and promoting internal growth.
  • Quality Assurance & Process Improvement:
    • Implement and evolve quality management practices across training programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and quality standards.
    • Continuously improve training frameworks based on performance analytics audits and feedback.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:
    • Collaborate with senior management and cross-functional teams to align training strategies with broader business objectives.
  • Performance Monitoring & Reporting:
    • Develop robust performance tracking mechanisms to monitor the effectiveness of training programs.
    • Track key metrics providing comprehensive reports to stakeholders with actionable insights.
  • Innovation in Training Methods:
    • Drive the adoption of new training technologies and methodologies including e-learning platforms to enhance learning outcomes and reduce training time.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 15+ years of experience in training operations, process coaching, or quality management with at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership role ideally within the HCC industry.
  • HCC Knowledge: Extensive expertise in HCC coding systems.
  • Leadership & Training Expertise: Advanced experience in leading, mentoring, and managing a team of trainers, process coaches, and managers driving high performance and achieving training objectives.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Coding Certification: AAPC/AHIMA
  • Proven Experience: Senior management role overseeing a team of managers, trainers, or quality leaders in a high-volume dynamic environment.

  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to align training initiatives with company strategy and execute high-level goals through actionable plans.
  • High-Level Mentorship: Expertise in coaching and developing senior team members to enhance leadership capabilities within the training function.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Strong analytical and reporting skills leveraging data to drive improvements and measure training effectiveness.
