Job Title: Climate Solutions Manager

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our climate solutions team and work on initiatives that promote sustainable development.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify areas for improvement in energy efficiency and clean energy.
  • Develop and implement strategies to increase clean energy demand and supply.
  • Support sub-national energy transitions and raise awareness about materials and circularity for the energy transition.
  • Ensure equitable development through energy transitions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A graduate or postgraduate degree in science, engineering, architecture, policy, or related fields.
  • 7-10 years of relevant experience in energy efficiency and/or clean energy, cooling, or heat resilience.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior experience working in the buildings and/or cooling sector is non-negotiable.
  • Deep expertise and technical knowledge of cooling technologies, solutions, and their implementation.
  • Knowledge and interest in national and international policy discourse around sustainable cooling, energy-related climate actions, and energy efficiency.
  • Experience working at the state level, in urban or rural settings, engaging with state government agencies, CSOs, academia, and/or the private sector.
  • Strong ability to communicate clearly and effectively in conversation and writing.
  • Technical and quantitative skills, with some training in research methods.
