EMC is looking for a Senior Climate Specialist to join our team in Mumbai

Are you passionate about climate risk assessment, climate stress testing, and climate finance? Do you have hands-on experience in GHG inventories, climate change risk assessments, and decarbonization strategies?

We're seeking a candidate who has:

4+ years of experience in climate risk assessment, climate stress testing, GHG inventories (GHG Protocol, ISO 14064), and decarbonization strategies

Strong knowledge of climate risk frameworks like CDP, SBTi, IFRS-S2, DJSI, and NGFS Scenarios

Expertise in conducting climate stress tests to evaluate vulnerabilities in financial products and assets under different climate scenarios (1.5°C, 2°C, 4°C)

Proficiency with data analytics and coding tools like MS Excel, Power BI, Tableau, RStudio, and Python

Experience helping organizations access Climate Finance, supporting their transition towards sustainability

Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills

As a Senior Climate Specialist, you will work on climate risk assessments, conduct climate stress tests, and support decarbonization efforts for clients across sectors. You will also help organizations navigate the complex world of climate finance and access necessary funding for their climate-related projects.
