
Sales Learning and Development Specialist

The primary role is to plan and execute impactful learning programs for sales and business development teams.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to craft learning solutions that align with the company's overall objectives and drive revenue growth.
Responsibilities Include:
- Deliver High-Impact Training
- Activity-Based Training: Develop dynamic, activity-driven sessions where participants learn by doing, not just listening.
- Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Learning: Create structured forums where the team can share, practice, and grow together.
- Buddy Training & Mentorship: Implement a buddy system to give new hires a strong, supportive start.
- Hands-On Coaching & On-the-Job Training: Provide real-time coaching on the floor, ensuring immediate application of learned skills.
- Engaging Online Training: Lead interactive, virtual sessions on sales skills, product knowledge, communication, and closing—plus refreshers to keep skills sharp.
- Develop Engaging Content
- AI-Driven Expertise: Utilize Generative AI and Large Language Models to create content, assessments, and adaptive learning paths at scale.
- Instructional Design: Craft clear, concise content that's easy to digest.
- Presentations: Build and deliver engaging decks that simplify complex ideas and keep learners interested.
- Tools: Familiarity with platforms such as Articulate 360 and Camtasia is beneficial but secondary to your AI-first capability.
- Measure and Improve
- Identify skill gaps and quickly develop training opportunities.
- Track training effectiveness and tie it back to performance on the ground.
- Take full ownership of delivery and outcomes, ensuring programs are on time, visible, and outcome-driven.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A high-ownership mindset with the ability to independently drive results.
- Strong communication and presentation skills—able to make complex things simple.
- Ability to design and run engaging online learning sessions.
- Exceptional facilitation skills across activity-based, peer-driven, and hands-on training.
- Good understanding of GenAI and LLM-based content development.
- At least 2 years of experience in a sales trainer or similar role.
