Lead Hospital Ward Manager
\As a highly skilled and experienced Lead Hospital Ward Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of our hospital ward. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical leadership skills with a commitment to upholding the highest standards of nursing care, ensuring efficient ward operations, and fostering a positive and professional environment for both staff and patients.
\Key Responsibilities:

- Ward Operations: Manage daily routines, equipment, and patient management while planning resource deployment based on occupancy and ensuring professional handover and takeover of shifts.\
- Clinical Care: Ensure adherence to Nursing Clinical standards and protocols by preparing and implementing nursing care plans, assisting clinicians, and ensuring investigations and treatments are carried out as advised by doctors.\
- Emergency Management: Competently handle emergencies and provide timely guidance while making crucial decisions. Anticipate potential emergencies and ensure the team is prepared.\
- Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the nursing team by assigning duties, ensuring staff competency, conducting training and appraisals, and fostering strong interpersonal relationships within the team and with other departments.\
- Patient & Family Relations: Ensure a smooth patient experience from admission to discharge, including room orientation and focusing on outstanding service delivery. Counsel patients on preventative care and uphold patient rights and confidentiality.\
- Quality & Compliance: Be responsible for implementing infection control practices and tracking/reporting Nursing Quality Indicators.\
- Coordination: Work closely with Admissions, LDR, OT, NICU, Pharmacy, Lab, and Billing teams to ensure seamless patient care and operations.\
- Resource Management: Manage inventory and costs to prevent wastage of drugs and consumables, ensuring all equipment is serviceable and the team is competent in its use.\
- Educational Qualifications: A degree or diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution is required along with a valid State Registration Nursing Council Certificate.\
- Required Skills: Strong clinical skills, proven leadership abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and meticulous record-keeping.
