The Program Manager will play a key role in driving 'One Eaton Engineering Functional Excellence' by simplifying and improving work experiences for engineers. This involves aligning with the CTO's strategy to create a unified engineering functional excellence organization.
This role will focus on managing PPM Global deployment, developing Project Management Standard work, and collaborating with a global cross-functional team to drive customer satisfaction and continuous improvement.
- Responsibilities include maintaining ongoing dialogs with project teams to ensure efficient process management, setting standards, and managing stakeholder communications.
- Ensure effective change management processes are utilized, maintain standard program management processes, and provide adequate support to the project team.
- Work with internal and external customers to develop detailed information requirements, report results through various dashboards, and strive to continuously learn and develop new algorithms in data science.
To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer or Electrical Engineering
- 7+ years of experience, including 4 years in project management
Required skills include:
- Project Management Institute (PMI) accreditation, preferably PMP
- Exposure to software development lifecycles, such as Waterfall, Agile, and incremental
- High proficiency in preparing and managing schedules using Microsoft Project software
- Exposure to data visualization techniques and tools, like Qlikview and Power BI
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
As a Program Manager, you will have the opportunity to work with a global team, drive customer satisfaction, and continuously improve processes. You will also have the chance to learn and develop new skills in data science.
