Job Overview

The Key Account Manager plays a pivotal role in cultivating and maintaining robust relationships with key clients in the Beauty Specialty Channel. Their primary focus is to proactively capture client business needs and ensure satisfaction with products or services.

Strategic Account Planning

  • Determine strategic channels to drive growth and maximize revenue from key accounts.
  • Develop and execute account plans to accelerate off-take for each account.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement plans smoothly.

Channel Strategy and Key Account Management

  • Identify customer segmentation by tiering accounts to create tailored plans.
  • Understand the right store to win through targeted investment.
  • Develop a visibility program aligned with company expectations on brand image, sales growth, and space share.

Sales Planning

  • Capture market movements to prepare solid Omni-channel plans for assigned accounts.
  • Define Sales Building Blocks for key accounts, including Top Accounts Hasaki/Skinfood/Cocolux/Nuty.
  • Closely work with Trade Marketing to build activity support for each account.

Collaboration and People Management

  • Collaborate with Trade Marketing and Marketing teams to develop Joint Business Plans.
  • Work with Demand Planning to prepare accurate forecasts for assigned accounts.
  • Lead a team to deliver KPIs and ensure effective leadership, teamwork, and collaboration with other business units.

Control and Compliance

  • Build performance tracking systems for team members.
  • Prepare and present business reviews, updates, and determine market challenges & opportunities for assigned accounts.
  • Ensure compliance and ethics within the sales organization and the total company.

Required Skills and Experiences

  • At least 3-5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or customer success roles.
  • Experience in Beauty Specialty channel for at least 1 year.
  • Strong existing working relationships with clients in Beauty Specialty channel.
  • Experience in Sales planning, worked for Skincare's brands.

Preferred Skills and Experiences

  • Experience in Distributor Management is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Google Workspace (Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms).
