Business Development Specialist

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Business Development Specialist. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex projects that involve analyzing businesses, identifying opportunities, and developing go-to-market strategies.
About the RoleThis is a dynamic position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills. You will be responsible for managing client relationships, conducting research, and providing data-driven insights to inform business decisions.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze businesses to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase efficiency and effectiveness
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new business ventures and partnerships
- Manage client relationships and provide tailored advice to meet their needs
To excel in this role, you should have experience working in consulting or management advisory, with a strong background in financial or business analysis, corporate finance, management reporting, and assurance or risk advisory. Excellent presentation, communication, and quantitative analytical skills are also essential.

Working ArrangementsYour time will be split across three main areas: Efficiency (40%), Transactions (40%), and Growth (20%). In Efficiency, you will focus on management reporting, analytical MIS, business efficiency and effectiveness measurement, and instituting management frameworks or new tools and techniques. In Transactions, you will analyze businesses, identify opportunities, and develop go-to-market strategies. In Growth, you will focus on business value identification and strategy, market entry strategy, and value exploitation or augmentation roadmap planning.
