Lead the hardware design function to develop high-quality, reliable, and cost-effective solutions for air conditioning products. Drive innovation in design processes, tools, and methodologies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop overall hardware architecture and specifications for VRF, Residential ACs, Chiller, Commercial Refrigeration products.
  • Create hardware design documents including approved schematic designs, Bill of Materials (BOM), and design calculation sheets.
  • Ensure robust design verification and validation processes through FMEA, simulations, and rigorous testing.
  • Mitigate design risks and oversee resolution of field failures and continuous product improvement.

Main Qualifications:

  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership skills to manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
  • Technical Expertise: Deep technical expertise in electronic hardware design, power electronics, schematic capture, PCB design tools, and hardware simulation.
  • Knowledge of Manufacturing Processes: Understanding of manufacturing processes, DFM/DFT principles, EMI/EMC compliance, thermal management, and reliability Testing.

About the Role:

  • Align hardware design goals with business objectives and market requirements.
  • Work closely with firmware teams to define hardware-software interfaces, including ADC/DAC ranges, digital IO behavior, and communication protocols.
  • Perform system-level debugging during development and field issues.
