Program Manager Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Program Manager with deep experience in managing embedded software and hardware programs across the full product lifecycle—from concept to launch. This role demands a tech-savvy leader who can manage high-complexity programs involving electronics hardware, embedded systems, firmware, and manufacturing workflows.

This individual will be responsible for leading cross-functional programs for new product introduction (NPI), from architecture and prototyping to mass production. They must have excellent project management skills, including managing project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations across engineering, sourcing, manufacturing, and quality teams.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations
  • Collaborate with design engineers and suppliers to ensure DFM and high product yield
  • Interface with OEMs, PCB design houses and vendors regularly to ensure project plans are updated periodically and plans put in place to avoid execution delays
  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and risk mitigation plans
  • Drive execution excellence with clear KPIs and regular program reviews

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and the ability to interface with stakeholders, vendors, and leadership to provide timely updates. Additionally, they should have a solid understanding of regulatory certification processes and be able to develop plans for product certification and drive schedules to meet product launch timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead cross-functional programs for new product introduction (NPI)

• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations

• Collaborate with design engineers and suppliers to ensure DFM and high product yield

• Interface with OEMs, PCB design houses and vendors regularly

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and risk mitigation plans

• Drive execution excellence with clear KPIs and regular program reviews

• Own end-to-end delivery of embedded products including hardware design, firmware integration, validation, certification, and manufacturing readiness

• Work closely with embedded software and systems teams to ensure product functionality aligns with hardware constraints and timelines

• Collaborate with hardware and firmware engineers to validate integration, resolve technical blockers, and maintain quality standards
