Salary: ₹80,000 - ₹1,20,000 per month (depending on experience)

Job Description:

Roles and Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Develop and implement a sales plan to achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Appoint suitable distributors and ensure primary, secondary sales along with executing other important activities such as claim, CRM implementation, etc.
  • Identify and prospect potential institutional clients in the HORECA & Related industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers (Purchase Managers, Housekeepers, Kitchen Stewarding Managers, Chefs, Admin/Operation Managers, Owners, GM's, and other stakeholders in customer organizations. Contacts in Paint/Hardware Industry and/or Car Accessories Channel/Market will be added advantage).
  • Understand customer needs, provide product knowledge, and offer tailored solutions to meet their specific requirements.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, training, and presentations to showcase the benefits and features of our products.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure timely order processing, delivery, and after-sales support.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities & adjust sales strategies accordingly. Also share inputs/feedback with internal team.
  • Prepare sales reports, forecasts & analysis to track performance and provide insights to management.
  • Attend industry trade shows, exhibitions, networking events to expand the company's presence and generate new business opportunities.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree would be preferred.
  • Proven track record of at least 6-8 years of experience in B2B sales, preferably in the related industry.
  • Strong connections/relationships with customers that you can leverage.
  • Strong understanding of the HORECA and related sectors and its dynamics, including knowledge of customer needs, market trends, and competitor landscape.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills with a customer-centric approach.
