Job Overview
">- We are seeking a seasoned professional to drive growth and expansion in the metals industry.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing regional business strategies, identifying new opportunities, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- This role requires a strong expertise in core business development, preferably within the metals, commodities, or recycling sector.
Key Responsibilities:
">- Drive regional sales and revenue targets.
- Identify and onboard new business opportunities, clients, and partners.
- Develop and execute regional GTM (Go-to-Market) strategies.
Team Leadership & Collaboration:
">- Lead and mentor a regional business development team.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns for lead generation and customer acquisition.
- Work closely with customer support and telesales teams to ensure high conversion rates and client satisfaction.
Market & Relationship Management:
">- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, buyers, and channel partners.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Represent the company in regional networking forums and industry events.
Operational Excellence:
">- Ensure smooth execution of customer onboarding, order processing, and service delivery.
- Monitor KPIs and provide regular performance updates to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, sustainability, and ethical trading practices.
Qualifications & Experience:
">- A graduate degree from a reputable institution is required. An MBA or post-graduation is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in core business development, preferably in the metals, commodities, or recycling sector.
- A proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience in managing regional teams and cross-functional collaboration.
