Key Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and evaluate new product opportunities in the US hospital pharmaceutical market.
  • Lead the development and preparation of forecasts, marketing strategies, and launch plans for new products.
  • Monitor and evaluate the progress of potential new critical care products in Phase II and Phase III clinical trials.
  • Manage the portfolio and pipeline of products in the US hospital pharmaceutical market.
  • Contribute to the execution of strategic initiatives to advance Piramal Group's mission for licensing and strategic alliances across the US hospital pharmaceutical market.
  • Develop business plans and financial justifications for proposed new product development, co-development, acquisitions, and in-licensing opportunities.

Key Competencies:

  • Deep understanding of the US generic market for hospital drug products.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, combined with a high degree of personal credibility.
  • Superior analytical skills and a firm strategic understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on hospital-based drug products.
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead teams in a complex, global organization across multiple geographies.
  • Based in Mumbai, India, with the ability to travel one week per month or approximately two weeks per month total, with some international travel possible.
