Job Overview

This role entails overseeing the entire issuance and fulfillment process for new business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing WIP, driving central initiatives to enhance issuance efficiency, and fostering collaboration with distribution, policy issuance, and underwriting teams to ensure seamless business continuity.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Relationship Management
    • Strengthen relationships through regular engagement with distribution heads.
    • Maintain performance by engaging regularly to monitor and improve results.
    • Managing New Business
      • Oversee the issuance of new business by ensuring daily progress on WIP to meet monthly targets.
      • Drive WIP clearance through hub teams for daily field WIP clearance and issuance.
      • Conduct regular governance calls with HUBs teams.
      • Manage end-to-end WIP processes.
      • Identify opportunities for improvement and drive process excellence initiatives to ease business operations and enhance quality measures for channel partners.
      • Data and Reporting
        • Deliver reports and analysis on various business parameters to inform improvement plans.
        • Support distribution with data sets, reports, and dashboards.
        • Collaborate with internal departments on report automation.
        • Present findings to senior management as needed.
        • Control and Monitor Processes
          • Ensure compliance with AxisMaxlife and IRDAI norms.
          • Update and maintain SOPs and 4 sheeters.
          • Document and control changes in existing processes.
          • Process service requests according to defined SLAs.
          • Projects and Continuous Improvement
            • Conduct benchmarking internally and externally to establish best-in-class delivery and quality standards.
            • Implement guidelines for distribution adherence.
            • People Management
              • Develop team members to perform effectively and efficiently.
              • Measures of Success
                • Monthly governance engagements with distribution leaders/head.
                • Publish monthly issuance dashboards/scorecards.
                • Drive operational efficiencies with distribution teams.
                • 92% M0 Issuance.

                • FTR of 85%.
                • Resolve escalations and requests with TAT to drive customer satisfaction.
                • Complete 1 Green/Black belt project annually.
                • Retain talent, maintaining >10% attrition for G2M2abv.
                • Accurately reconcile business data/reports.
                • Customize analytical reports for user-friendliness.
                • Deploy process improvements.
                • Align departments effectively, minimizing escalations.
