Senior Team Leader Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various areas, including Fixed Income Analytics, Risk Management, and Returns Optimization.

This role involves independently supporting client queries on Fixed Income instruments, terms, and conditions, as well as providing end-to-end services operations support to clients. The successful candidate will become an SME in workflows, data validation, and process management to ensure daily deliverables are met.

Key responsibilities include partnering with regional and global leads, managers, directors of operations, and stakeholders to effectively manage initiatives. This includes driving operational efficiency by focusing on consistency between global teams, regularly presenting KPIs and key goals to regional and global teams, and leading projects that adhere to standards and continuous operations improvements.

In addition, the Senior Team Leader will act as a point of contact during shifts and be resourceful in supporting the team and stakeholders. A minimum of 7 members will report directly to this role.

  • To be eligible for this position, candidates must hold a postgraduate degree in MBA-Finance with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential.
  • Candidates should have experience in building effective business relationships with cross-functional/geographical teams.
  • Familiarity with Fixed Income products (Rates, Bonds, Credit, Foreign Exchange, Commodities) is required.
  • Adaptability in a fast-paced environment and ability to handle multiple tasks through effective prioritization are necessary.
  • Candidates should be flexible to work in a hybrid model.
